A big weekend for Strongman in Australia
Obviously the Arnolds from last weekend in Melbourne was huge with the mix of international athletes and new events and awareness of the sport with so many divisions in the one weekends, Amateurs heavyweights, pro Heavyweights, ASM under 105’s, Strongfit womens u75kgs as well.
This weekend is a great marker that the sport of Strongman has been seeing in the past few years. Three separate states have the first round of their Strongman series for 2015 on the same day. NSW already had their event a couple of weeks ago (Write up here by Troy Conley).

On top of these three Strongman Series, we also have the New South Wales Qualifier for the Australian Log Lift Championships, hosted at PTC Macarthur.

We also have Tasmanias Strongest Man and Women being held at the Tasmania Health and Fitness Expo on Saturday the 28th of March 2015 as well:
With these five events combined we should see well over 150 Australians competing in a strongman oriented event all on the same day.
