The Arnold Strongman Classic 2015 - The Bale Tote
Last year the Bale Tote was a new addition to the Arnold Strongman Classic with a peak weight of 1410lbs (640 kgs) and the distance to be carried was 10 feet. There was a lighter weight that the competitors also had to complete before doing the 14010lb yoke was 1227lbs (557 kgs). This year the event was ramped up markedly and the Bale tote (The bale is actually two bales of cotton each about 500lbs) now came in at 1300lbs (590kgs) for the lightweight and 1500lbs (681kgs) for the heavyweight. The distance was also increased to 16.4feet (5 metres, distance unconfrmed).
