The Static Monsters is coming back in 2016 in a BIG way!
As of February 2016 there will be 4 countries offering 12 events, all run on the same day. For the current updated event listing, check here: http://www.staticmonsters.com/events/
Supported by the Australian Strongman Alliance, simultaneous events are planned for the majority of states and regional areas in Australia, as well as international events confirmed in New Zealand, Singapore and the United States (with some of these countries having multiple events), all being run on the same day with standardised equipment.
The first Static Monsters event was in November of 2015 and was a small event on the Gold Coast but with the test run of a Live Stream (How to stream your own event: details here) that was watched by multiple countries around the world and a wide age group of listeners, it showed that there was a lot of interest in such an event.
