The Austrian Oak - 2016 Arnold Classic

Rogue Fitness continues their series on the events from the Arnold Strongman Classic in Columbus Ohio on the first weekend of March 2016. This time it is what appears to be the hardest event for the competitors, the Austrian Oak. Named after the nickname given to Arnold Schwarzenegger himself it is a 450lb (204kg) log built by Steve Slater. Last year only one person lifted it, Zydrunas Savickas. This year he repeated his efforts with 4 repetitions on the Austrian Oak, only one other was able to make this amazing feat of strength, Zydrunas’ countryman, Vytatuas Lalas, who made 1 repetition.
