The Cullman Area Animal Welfare Association (CAAWA) is a 501(C)3 non-profit, all volunteer, no-kill organization that rescues dogs and cats in the Cullman County area. Our mission is to decrease the number of animals surrendered to our local county animal shelter through the rescue and interception of at risk dogs and cats and by providing low cost spay/neuter assistance.   Located in Cullman, Alabama.

The Cullman Area Animal Welfare Association (CAAWA) is having to change

in order to continue helping as many animals in our area as possible.  We are going to work more closely with our local animal shelter and the animals that are most at risk.  This will mean we will be focusing more on the animals at our local Shelter and less with taking animals from the general public.  We will continue to adopt dogs and cats to loving families, providing low cost spay/neuter assistance, maintain a dog/cat food locker for those in need and other services that we can continue with our limited resources.

All of our dogs and puppies are completely vetted with all shots/bordotello/heartworm tested and treated if necessary as well as spayed /neutered.   All cats/kittens have all shots, spayed/neutered,HIV/FELeuk tested and are negative if adopted.  We provide any medical treatment to sick and injured animals in our program as needed.  We can not pay the Vet Bills of the Public with our limited resources.

PLEASE PROVIDE FOOD, WATER AND SHELTER FOR YOUR PETS.
